Just wanted to tell ya’ll I’ve added some items to my etsy shop! First off, a couple of small originals I did with my new watercolors. They’ve both got some really vibrant colors going on. One is called Caterpillar Get Together, and the other one is Fire Roasted Jalapeno. I used an image of the watercolor jalapeno piece as the label on my husband’s newest mead! ( https://www.facebook.com/BoondockMead ) I’ve also put together some sets of my postcards (for buying convenience and bulk discount)!
YAYYY! Got to go to my 20th anniversary of seeing a Penn & Teller show last Saturday. It was a great show!!! Me, my hubby and my dad all had a fantastic time. I had seen the show a couple years ago too, and I was happy that this show was almost completely different from last time. Definitely worth drive from Reno.
After the show I succeeded in getting my screenshot of P&T from The Residents – The Eyes Scream signed by both of them! I watched that VHS so many times when I was a teen. I watched it every day after school for a couple years! It was my first introduction to P&T and for me it will always be a beloved classic.
Looking forward to keeping up with future P&T things!!!

I’ve caught up on adding some older originals to my Etsy shop. My originals section went empty shortly after my Poxodd Day sale so I decided I should rummage around to see what else I have to offer. Found some things I forgot to transfer from my old shop, and added one painting from 2010 that’s never been previously available. I’ve finished a new artwork! It’s called “The Perfect Stick” and features a bird species from poxoddland ( there is a similar bird in my Bird Dreams – Plumage zine ).
She’s found the perfect stick and now is looking for the perfect tree to built a nest. The artwork is a drawing with layered color, I used watered down gouache paint to do the colored work and a black ink for outlines and details. I also thought this image would make for a really nice greeting card, so I made some hand made cards based on this image (I redid the image digitally to fit well as a card). There is only a very low quantity right now since this is the first time I’ve done greeting cards and I don’t know what the demand will be.
So come on in and visit my etsy shop to get them while you can!

This artwork I’ve created is called Moon’s Brightness. The bright eyed moon works tirelessly all night making wiggly shimmer shapes on the sea’s surface. Annoyed that it can’t get any sleep due to the bright light of the moon, the sea otter turns away.

We used this drawing I did to label one of my husbands meads (no you can’t have any, we don’t sell it, it’s just a hobby)…. So that’s why the particular flower combo. It’s a pungent beverage! At the tasting we had for it, people were torn about this particular mead flavor, some liked it… others not so much… but everybody loved the art. Now you have a chance to own the art and love it on your wall!

Renaldo & The Loaf – Convivial Ode
So… finally some big news is revealed. I’ve been working on this secret project for quite a while and finally it is announced!!!
It’s a BRAND NEW ALBUM by Renaldo & The Loaf called “Gurdy Hurding”! Set for release October
Soooo…. Ever since I was a teen I’ve been spinning records by this duo… actually, they are really one of my most favorite bands of all time. So this has been such a great honor working with them.
They haven’t made a new album since the 80’s but now they’re makin’ a comeback. I’m helping them do it in style!!! Not only did I make them album art but I also made them glorious hats (that match the ones illustrated on the cover).
There is going to be so much more to come from us. I’ll post more about it very soon. Stay tuned.

The long awaited Locust Fellow & Friends debut album, “Curse of The Baleful Caller” is now out and available for purchase at Psychofon Records. I am so excited about this release! It’s my first 12″ vinyl album art and I’m very proud of it!
For those who don’t know, this album was done as an art sound track, where the art was created (by me) first, and then the musicians created the album to go with the art. Very happy with how it all turned out… music wise… and the whole package…. you must go to Psychofon and pick up a copy!!!
Check out that gorgeous blue splatter vinyl!!! So pretty you might not want to play it… but that’s fine because they all come with download code cards. Also available in black vinyl for those who prefer it.
