I finished this piece recently (mostly… I still need to make a frame for it), and wanted to share!

It’s a watercolor and gouache on mounted rice paper and is 11″ X 14″. I did the first layers much like a traditional Gongbi (Chinese meticulous style) painting, and did further detail layers with pen & ink and gouache.
