Lingering Lenticular

This piece is my recent artistic ode to lenticular cloudsLenticular cloudsare stationary clouds that form mostly in the troposphere, typically in parallel alignment to the wind direction. They are often comparable in appearance to a lens or saucer.. We get them a lot here in Reno and surrounding areas due to all the nearby mountains. I decided to make a little 8″ x 10″ pen and ink/chinese watercolor artwork to show my affection for this spectacular form of cloud!
